Julia Morgan portfolio, Beaux-Arts years, circa 1900

This project portfolio includes drawings and sketches that Morgan likely did for her school assignments while she was studying at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Most work is done in pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, and gouache on tissue and paper. The portfolio seems to be a commercially-made sketchbook, with a fabric cover and a pencil holder on the top, which Morgan pasted her drawings into.
