Chicana Foundation 1995 - Workshop, Laney College

Janice Cantù leads the second Chicana Latina Foundation workshop on interview, resume, and job etiquette at Laney Community College in Oakland, California on March 18, 1995. The purpose of the workshop is to provide resources, support, networking opportunities, and a space for self reflection where Chicanas/Latinas can evaluate and refine their skills when applying or interviewing for a job, scholarship, internship, etc. Although the entirety of the workshop is not filmed, the agenda items presented help fill in the gaps for what the viewer missed. Guests in attendance of this workshop include the Chicana Latina Foundation board members including Olga Tarasas (founding member of the Chicana Latina Foundation which started in the East Bay in 1977), Delilah Alvarez (president of the board of directors of the Chicana Latina Foundation), Maria Gayo (board member of the Chicana Latina foundation), Linda Muñoz (board member of the Chicana Latina foundation), and Janice Cantù (board member of the Chicana Latina fdation and leader of the workshop).
