Plate 34. Environs of Godesberg
Color engraving with a view of the environs of Godesberg, including the fountain house. According to Beethoven's friend Ferdinand Ries, when Haydn returned to Bonn from London in July 1792 he attended a breakfast for him in Godesberg given by the court orchestra, which included Beethoven.
