Outstanding Research Papers

Contest Rules

Guidelines:

Through the generosity of Castle & Cooke, the 2007 Castle & Cooke Outstanding Research Paper Writing Awards are presented annually to honor papers written for classes each calendar year by students at the undergraduate and graduate levels at California State University, Bakersfield and California State University, Bakersfield – Antelope Valley Campus. All papers written for a CSUB/CSUB-AV Class during Winter 2007, Spring 2007, Summer 2007, and Fall 2007 are eligible. 

Three awards will be given in each of the following categories:

1. Outstanding Undergraduate Research Paper – Literature
