Air Science Division (Air Sc)

1A-B. Basic Air Science (2-2)
(Three hours each week.)
First year basic course for Reserve Officer Training Corps, Air Force. Military organization; hygiene and first aid, leadership, drill and exercise of command; individual weapons and marksmanship; maps and aerial photographs; national defense act; and AROTC.

2A-B. Basic Air Science (2-2)
(Three hours each week.)
Second year basic course for Reserve Officer Training Corps, Air Force. Leadership, drill and exercise of command; physical development methods; maps and aerial photographs; military administration; evolution of warfare; and military law and boards.

101A-B. Advanced Air Science (3-3)
(Five hours each week.)
First year advanced course for Reserve Officer Training Corps of Air Force. Military leadership psychology and personnel management; leadership, drill and exercise of command; geographical foundations of national power; military law and boards; history of the air force; organization of the air force; personnel management; air force training; air force inspection systems; air force statistical control systems; air force supply; transportation; navigation; aeronautics; meteorology; communication; air intelligence and combat orders; air operations; and guided missiles.

101C. AFROTC Summer Camp (3)
Six weeks of training is required for advanced students at some designated military installation in order to qualify for a reserve commission. Attendance may be during the summer preceding the senior year, with the exception that special provisions may apply to veterans.

102A-B. Advanced Air Science-Administration and Logistics (3-3)
(Five hours each week.)
Second year advanced course for Reserve Officer Training Corps of Air Force. Command and staff ; military teaching methods; psychological warfare; military problems of the United States; leadership, drill and exercise of command; combined and joint operations; military mobilization and demobilization; combat intelligence; and air force supply.
