Unveiling of the Bronze statue of John Steinbeck in Salinas, California.

Sculptor Tom Fitzwater, who is from Greenfield and a graduate student at CSU, Long Beach, being introduced at the official unveiling of the bronze statue of Steinbeck.This statue is located at front of John Steinbeck Library. Officially donated byThe Soroptomist Club of Salinas in 1973, it has been on display since Dec. 1971.
