Glastonbury Abbey

Glastonbury was on of the earliest Benedictine abbeys; its charter, signed buy the Saxon King Ina (688-726 C.E.), is still in existence. The Norman part of the churches the earliest of which is said to have been founded by Joseph of Arimathea during Christ's lifetime.
