Department of Mental Hygiene Hospital and Facilities Map
This document is a map created by the Department of Mental Hygiene in January 1953, displaying all the hospitals and facilities of the state of California. Some of this hospitals are labeled under 'construction started' and 'construction not started'. Each clinic and hospital has a different function, for example there are four types of clinics and hospitals depending on the need of the patient. The first type is hospital for mentally ill, the second type is hospital for mentally deficient, the third type is psychiatric hospital and clinic, and the fourth one is outpatient clinics.
