Mississippi Delta Wetland Creation

Crevasse-Spray Sediment Diversion: A 1987 aerial view of project within the lower Mississippi River Delta area. A cut (crevasse) was artificially created through the natural levee to allow freshwater and sediment fo fill in a shallow.
