Note about the beginnings of the YWCA in San Jose
Item is a handwritten note by Chloe Case Anderson documenting the beginning of the YWCA in San Jose. The first page lists women, all Stanford alumnae, who were probably some of its the original organizers. It records highlights of Chloe Anderson's work as the Recording Secretary of the Board of Directors and the General Secretary, where the Association was located, and some of it's programs. The second page of the note lists women who were some of the early directors and documents who and when some of the women served as temporary or permanent replacements for Chloe. It covers the years of 1906-1909
