Peace Rally to Protest Bombings

Opinions differed in response to U.S. bombings in Afghanistan. Some SJSU students and faculty gathered with other community members to speak in support of peace. One student was seen on campus wearing a white mask with the mouth taped shut to represent the lack of coverage by the media of Afghani victims of the bombings. (Spartan Daily, October 12, 2001)
