Dita and Amit Basu

Dita and Amit Basu talk about immigrating to Silicon Valley in the early 1970s and being part of the first association for Bengalis in the Bay Area called "Prabasi." In their respective careers, Dita talks about being a bilingual writer who writes in both English and Bengali, while having a background in teaching kids. Amit talks about teaching Bengali to university students and translating Rabindranath Tagore's works from Bengali to English in his free time following his career as a civil engineer.
