Morro Rock in Morro Bay, California. Morro Rock is a 581-foot (177 m) volcanic plug located just offshore from Morro Bay, California, at the entrance to Morro Bay Harbor. Dock at low tide, with skiffs tied up to it. The photographer, Albert Walton DeRome (Al Aagard), was a cousin of Carol Henning Steinbeck. (see Steinbeck Studies 15.1 (2004): 18.)
