Wells Cathedral

Within the Choir, the new work was carried up to a pointed barrel vault 67 feet high. The triforium stage, of new and reconstructed bays, was cased with decorated arcading and curvilinear windows were inserted in the clerestory. The flying buttresses, which previously had been hidden within the aisle roofs, were reconstructed in the open, and the east end was completed with a seven light window set above the retro choir.
