Jane Fonda with Steinbeck Award

Jane Fonda receives Steinbeck award in San Francisco and afterwards thanks a standing audience in San Francisco's Herbst Theatre. Fonda has spoken of the themes of Steinbeck's Grapes of Wrath and how they instilled in her the need for justice, freedom, fairness and equality. Fonda accepted the award after talking for an hour on stage with podcaster Greg Dalton, at an event hosted by The Commonwealth Club's Climate One project.
