Program/handbill for the First Concert Spirituel on March 1, 1827, in Vienna, Austria. The program included a symphony in C Major by Mozart; the chorus of the angels from the the cantata Die Hirten an der Krippe by J. Eybler; a chorus by C.P.E. Bach; the Consecration of the House overture by Beethoven; a chorus from the oratorio Israel in Egypt by Handel; and the Gloria from Beethoven's Missa solemnis (first Viennese performance). The concert is mentioned in no. 17 of the Allgemeine musikalische Zeitung for April 25, 1825, column 284, as having taken place in the 'landständischen Saale" in Vienna. The complete Missa solemnis was first performed on April 18, 1824, in St. Petersburg.
