- Trieste, feb. 19, 1878, George Fisher, esq. Dear Sir, I wish you would have the kindness either to send me no Chronicle at all, or to pay the full postage, and to send them regularly. -- I have had to pay this morning letter postage on 6 numbers, one or two of them away back in November. Paying letter postage for papers three months old is not very pleasant. Please amend the matter. Remembering olf times I am you A.W. Thayer. Feb. 21. 4 more Chron. have come at once with letter postage!!
