Kings College Chapel

Twin towers at either end of the chapel provide an architectural full stop to the powerful rhythm of the buttresses, and serve as access to the roof. There is a reluctance to cut off the sky line with a hard abrupt edge, and at these pints, pierced and crocketted masonry eases the eye into the sky beyond. Elsewhere the detailing is simple and crisp, almost modern in its attitude to form.
