Panoramic view of the City of San Jose, California, photographed from the Rea building, looking east. Depicted in the center of the image is the First National Bank of San Jose. At the time, it underwent a considerable renovation to add an entire 9 story wing to the existing structure. This bank is partially blocking a view of the Bank of Italy building, the larger building behind it. In the far left of the image, the dome of the San Jose Courthouse can be seen. This iconic structure would be nearly destroyed by fire several years later in May of 1931.
