Leonore Overture no. 3
Manuscript score for the Leonore Overture no. 3 composed for the 1806 revision of Fidelio. Professional copyist's manuscript notated in black ink in an unidentified hand; with lithographed title page that includes the attribution "G. Gottlieb 1830." Likely copied from the first edition of the score published by Breitkopf & Härtel in 1828, but with a rearrangement of the instruments (with trombones in the top staves) and the trumpet identified as "clarini." Bound in marbled boards with decorative paper label.
