Eric Thomsen

Eric Thomsen portrait. Thomsen met Steinbeck at the Resettlement Administration offices in San Francisco in 1936, where Thomsen helped to plan and inspect government camps. He travelled with Steinbeck to the San Joaquin Valley in August of 1936 to inspect the camps. The two carried on a correspondence until 1940.
