- BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE FROM INTERVIEWER: Sylvia Castillo was active in Hijas de Cuauhtemoc after she enrolled at CSULB in 1970. She was also active in pioneering support groups for sexual assault victims. Unfortunately, the tapes of the interview conducted with her as part of the project on Hijas was irrevocably damaged. As a result, there is little biographical information on her.
