White House Room

The White House Yellow Oval Room on the south side of the second floor. This photo taken during Johnson administration, in which it was used for state events and entertaining. Jacqueline Kennedy put in many of the furnishings now located there, and gave it its name. She used the services of Sister Parish (US interior designer) and Stephane Boudin (French interior designer) to design the room.
