Assemblyman Jack O'Connell (D-Santa Barbara) and Bob Barker, TV host, held a new[s] conference earlier this week on O'Connell's legislation which prohibits the transportation of animals in the back of pickup trucks unless the animals are safely secured in a manner to prevent them from falling or jumping from the vehicle.
