The contributor shares the following: "The procedures leading up to this picture was complicated; everyone pictured in this photograph took extra measures and precautions in order to ensure the safety of all family members who attended. As the incubation period of COVID-19 is 14 days, no one took trips for essential items or take out food, and instead made home cooked meals for a little over two weeks before gathering. In addition, prior to the two weeks on an essential trip run, we sanitized every product purchased that would need to be used immediately. For the items that we did not immediately use, we kept outside for a little over two week to minimize the threat of the virus still lingering on the items. For my boyfriend and I, we went out to the grocery together with a system. One person does the handling of the groceries and items, one person is in charge of holding the credit card and hand sanitizer/Clorox wipes. The person who sanitizes could only hold the "clean" items, and sanitized the card after every use. All of these precautions allowed us to gather for a very short period of time (less than an hour)."
