Priest's House of Muchelney
Another chantry house, probably built earlier than the previous example, which retains its thatched roof. Its interior arrangement is similar to that of Stokesay castle, and it is more typical early domestic plan. The entrance divides the kitchen, to the left, from the hall, which it lit with high windows. Above the hall on the right is a smaller private chamber.
