Women want Equal Representation
This flyer urges Democratic delegates to support equal representation for women in the California delegation to the 1976 Democratic National Convention. It notes that although party leaders have endorsed gender equality, the June 8, 1976 California delegation includes only about one-third women. The document highlights a decline in women's representation from 38.3% in 1972 to 34.3% in 1976. It encourages delegates voting for at-large and alternate positions to help restore progress by voting for women. The flyer is issued by the National Women's Political Caucus–Los Angeles.
