Marines have landed

Larger than life U.S. Marines chasing childlike Japanese soldiers up palm trees on the Solomon Islands. Other marines are disembarking from their boats with bayonets ready. There is a monkey on one of the palm trees that has the same caricature face as the Japanese soldier. Japanese soldiers were depicted as monkeys, snakes and rats.
