Old Bank Building

A photo of the Monterey County Bank building (now Old Town Antiques) at 201 Main Street in Salinas, California. In 'East of Eden,' this is where Cathy/Kate Ames deposited money each week. The building was constructed in 1907 and designed by William Weeks (not the same Weeks of Nauvoo Temple fame).
