Henselt was both a composer and a pianist, who like Beethoven was praised for his extraordinary legato playing. Henselt’s contribution to the album was the Wiegenlied in G-flat Major, a lullaby perhaps less reminiscent of Beethoven than Schubert (such as his Impromptu in the same key).
