John Steinbeck's apartment bedroom on the 34th Floor of 190 East 72nd Street in New York City. This photo was taken during a tour with Georgian documentarians. Note that the drapes go back to at least 1966 (see numbers 1-288 & 1-289). The cherubs on the wall were salvaged by Steinbeck from a church demolition in Italy. Digital copy only. No hard copy.
