Malmesbury Abbey
On either side of the door at Malmesbury are two more carved tympani, representing the twelve Apostles. These may have been a part of an earlier building; certainly they seem to be of earlier date than that over the entrance, and possibly should be described as Late Saxon, rather than Early Norman, work.
