Naval officers and sailors at Moffett Field hangar

A very large group portrait of sailors and naval officers in front of one of the hangars of the Moffett Field Air Station. On the far left, an airship can be seen. This craft is probably the USS Macon, since Moffett Field served as the Macon's homefield until its destruction off the Monterey Bay in February 12, 1935. The USS Macon was christened on March 11, 1933.
