Christmas Tree Bush Fences, Hammock Lake Wetland Protection

Volunteers from Jefferson parish load recycled Christmas trees into the empty wooden fence. Once the fence is filled, the trees are secured in place by tying twine across the top of the fence. Most fences benefit from the addition of new trees annually.
