Public meeting: Is India independent?

Poster of public meeting on the question of India's "independence" held in Eshleman Hall at U.C. Berkeley. The meeting addressed the problem that while India had fought for and succeeded in gaining self-determination from Britain in 1947, the majority of the country was still ruled by foreign capitalists and landlords.
