Autograph letter signed from Breitkopf & Härtel in Leipzig to Carl Haslinger in Vienna, (1 leaf, 4 written pages, with red seal on address page), dated Nov. 15, 1861, apologizing for the late return of manuscripts for the Piano Concertos, opp. 15 and 73, citing the overwhelming task of copying Beethoven's works, and stating that the manuscripts for opp. 19 and 37 will be retained even longer to complete the copying task.
