Correspondence regarding co-education at Cal Poly, 1954
A memo from President McPhee to Robert E. Kennedy and C.O. McCorkle, as well as two copies of a letter from Senator A. A. Erhart to Dr. Simpson (all were stapled together). The memo was written to inform of letters written between Cal Poly President Julian A. McPhee and the California Senator for the 29th District A. A. Erhart as well of a letter written from Senator Erhart to Dr. Roy Simpson, the State Superintendent of Public Instruction for the State Department of Education in Sacramento. These letters discuss the admission of women to Cal Poly for co-education and are dated to 1954. These letters and copies were attached via paperclip behind the originals which were digitized under the identifier: ua-sel_00002351
