Ida Studer and her best friend

Sometime in the early-to-mid-1880s, Ida Studer (Rollin's grandmother, 1865-1933)and her best friend, Florence Margouts, went to Bauscher Photo Studio in Fresno to have their portrait made together. Ida would have been a teenager when the photo was taken. Ida was 7 when her mother died in New York State. She was 8 when her family sailed to Panama and walked across the isthmus to the Pacific Ocean, bound for the Central Valley of California. She Married George Pickford in 1886.
