Exeter Cathedral
Exeter Cathedral was one of the last to be entirely rebuilt during the Gothic period. The former Norman cathedral was demolished and a new choir, together with the nave, built between the twin transept towers of the former building. Although the building period was extended, unity of design was preserved from one end to the other and particular attention was devoted to the quality of workmanship.
