Westminster Abbey

At Westminster the integration of clerestory window and high vault is complete, and the whole displays a confidence which is most impressive. The structure has been lightened by the adoption of plate tracery in the clerestory, a system which was to be further reduced to the fine bar tracery of Geometric lancet.
