Christmas Tree Bush Fences, Hammock Lake Wetland Protection

This Christmas tree brush fence in St. Mary Parish was built in 1990 to protect Hammock Lake marsh areas from the wave erosion of West Cote Blanche Bay. By February 1993, there is visible sediment buildup behind the fence.
