Westminster Abbey
Similar speed was shown in the rebuilding of the east and of Westminster Abbey by Henry III. There was no lack of funds, and the work of rebuilding Edward the Confessor's pre-conquest abbey was pushed ahead with as many as six to eight hundred men at work. He was greatly influences by French designs at Reims, Amiens and Beauvais so that this is not fully typical of English work. Interrupted by war, the rebuilding was not completed by the Reformation, and the nave was not commenced until 1376.
