Prospectus of the city of Bonn
View of Bonn, Germany, from the countryside. The view of the mountains shows castle ruins including Godesberg. The publisher of this engraving deserves special mention as he operated a music printing business as well as an art engraving shop. In 1800 or 1801, he issued a reprint of the first edition of Beethovens Pathétique Sonata which was first published by Hoffmeister in Vienna in 1799.
