49th Annual Convention of the California Christian Endeavor Union

A large group of Christian Endeavor Union members gather together for a group photograph in front of the San Jose Civic Auditorium to commemorate their 49th annual convention. The Christian Endeavor movement began in 1881 to bolster the commitment and involvement of christian youth in their churches and in their faith. The auditorium balcony is decorated with flags and a "Welcome to San Jose" banner.
