A unbound portfolio that contains twelve colored illustrations of California wildflowers, reproduced by the three-color process and printed on fine quality white cardboard, each signed "Copyright by E.M.H.S. 1905." Plates accompanied by a booklet containing descriptions of each of the wild flowers represented, probably the work of the artist's husband, writer Charles Francis Saunders.
