Notes
"The Apollo ballroom in the suburb of Schottenfeld was opened on their wedding day by Emperor Franz II (I) and his third wife, Maria Ludovika, in 1808. Intended for a predominantly aristocratic clientele, it lost its unique appeal in the face of overwhelming competition, fell into disrepair and was eventually turned into a candle factory."
