Raza Day 1996

Program for Raza Day, presented by SJSU Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán (M.E.Ch.A.). Held on Wednesday, April 10, 1996 at San Jose State University in the Morris Daily Auditorium. The Mistress of Ceremony was Araceli Lopez (M.E.Ch.A. Co-Chair) and the Master of Ceremony was Rafael Chavez (M.E.Ch.A. Internal Representative). The event included a Welcome by Gabe Reyes (Assistant to the President) and Joe Coto (Superintendent, East Side Union High School District), the First Keynote Address by Cecilia Preciado de Burciaga, the Second Keynote Address by Jose Antonio Burciaga, Career and General Workshops, and a Closing by Jesse Contreras (M.E.Ch.A. Member) and Maria D.L.C. Romo (M.E.Ch.A. Advisor).
