The Tribunal House
Town houses also began to have a new look with the increase in their importance. With merchants and businessmen now sharing more prestigious positions, their successes were reflected in the design of the buildings which they worked. At the Tribunal Houses of Glastonbury, the windows are detailed with four-centered arch heads and mullions- a feature that is characteristically Tudor, as in the use of Royal Arms and the Tudor Rose over the doorway. The division of the facade into equal bays is also typical, reflecting the perpendicular style used in religious buildings of the day.
