Note On verso: Old French Engine, On the Canal Zone, Panama. This engine will be sent to the San Francisco Exposition in 1915. At many points across the Isthmus and through the Canal Zone is to be seen much of the machinery abandoned by the French. The American Engineers however used as many as was practicable of the Engines, Dredges, Shovels and rolling stock.
