Exhibited: The Beethovens on the Rhine (2020). Exhibition text: Siegburg, about twelve miles northeast of Bonn, is one of the larger villages near the Sieg river. According to Fischer’s report, Beethoven played organ at the abbey there, which was built on a hill overlooking the town.
